ANNUAL SPRING BIRD WALK
7:00 a.m. Saturday, April 27 (weather permitting)
It’s well worth getting up early for the Rockbridge Bird Club’s annual bird walk in the Preserve!
Birds rise and sing early; and walk leader Paul Cabe, W&L biology professor and ornithologist,
will already be at the parking lot, listening, and ready to help you identify the sounds.
We’ll listen and look for a variety of woodland birds, including
Scarlet Tanager, Ovenbird, Wood Thrush, Red-eyed Vireo, and Worm-eating Warbler.
For possible weather cancellation, check Rockbridge Bird Club on Facebook.
